I kept my 6 to sleep in so I'd never have to worry about battery on either device.

the main things I like about the Ultra are the exclusive faces. modular ultra is the face I've always wanted. wayfinder is a better iteration of infograph.

after that I really like the action button. I used to have it assigned to a shortcut menu, but I remapped it to toggle my custom focus mode, since I found myself doing that in control center so often.

then there's the big flat screen.

active: calories from a workout where calorie burn was intentional and recorded

you're locked into keeping a line on the watch for the duration of the contract. if you find that you don't need cellular and cancel, the remaining cost of the watch comes due. it's better to buy outright than to finance with a carrier, unless that's the only way you can afford it.

you can set the watch in the watch app under clock to mirror phone alerts. then if you set an alarm on the phone it will also go off on the watch. it doesn't work the other way though. alarms set on the watch only go off on the watch.

get a sport loop for it. great for small wrists because you don't have to worry about fitting a hole. you just pull the strap tight and velcro it. and they fit even very tiny wrists.
