I notice they are quite different on a daily basis. I understand active calories to be calories above your BMR but don’t know what move calories represent.

I think move calories is basically just calories burned from your daily movements, over and above just what it takes to be sedentary living. Then active calories is what’s burned during actual workouts, or maybe when HR is above a certain level.

    move calories: any calories registered on the move ring, even if not in a workout. like from walking around living your normal routine.

    active: calories from a workout where calorie burn was intentional and recorded
