The only one in the world asking for more Gollum content is Andy Serkis' bank account.

I am concerned to think of all the terrible and just plain wrong information you have been given.

It's been obvious for years that the NDP in BC don't give a shit about protecting old-growth and that all their campaign promises are lies.

This is a pretty outrageous revelation nonetheless and it needs a lot of immediate attention. Whoever leaked this has my highest respect.

This is terribly incorrect. Space is not a solution. The amount of energy required to send trash into space is very high and therefore expensive, like ~$5000/kg, and would generate a stupid amount of C02. Watch this video, it gives a great perspective on the scope of the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us2Z-WC9rao

Alternatively, the Earth is HUGE. All the garbage ever generated in the history of humankind would fit into a comparatively tiny space. This is obviously a terrible option too, but WAY better than space.

Burning it is also terrible - no matter how good we get the incinerators, they still produce unacceptable levels of dioxins and other chemicals. You are much more likely to get cancer if you live near an incinerator.

The ONLY solution is to stop producing so much plastic.

This comment needs to be higher up.

This kind of article isn't news, it's marketing.

It's not the quality of the show or the content that matters. Have you ever put a small child in front of the TV? It's like turning their brains off. To be honest it's quite startling.

It doesn't matter if its "wholesome" content or not - there is a physical decreases of core brain activity as the child disengages from the world.

Because the problem is that smokers just haven't noticed yet that cigarettes are bad for them. This is big brain thinking!

They've been proven guilty time and time again for decades. There's entire Wikipedia articles about just the last ten years of them interfering with Canadian elections and influencing MPs, but it goes back way farther than that. Remember the collapse of Nortel? That was the fucking Chinese.

It's getting more media attention because more of it is coming to light, and people are sick of it.

As long as you "plan your dive and dive your plan" and allow appropriate surface intervals you can do 3 in a day without much trouble. Modern dive tables and computers are pretty solid. Typically you do your deeper and/or longer dives first and adjust your intervals as needed. Add some decompression stops to every dive for extra safety and you should be totally fine. Doing extended trips of 3 dives a day id be more careful and work in rest days and more conservative plans and be more careful with exhaustion levels. Every persons physiology is different so you can never be sure, but a conservative approach and common sense will keep you safe.
