Only thing I'm against is the bystander who had to see that. But they got away fine and that's somethings out of the shooters control. Break a few eggs, hope they get good therapy watching someone die and also a book deal for being next to a celebrity.
Finally started a substack and I'm super proud of myself but don't want to dox myself so if y'all see a really good substack with really good takes make sure to like it.
I feel like I've been on the verge of an anxiety or panic attack for the last 2 months but nothing has happened. Is that also anxiety? Either way I'm getting more and more on my plate each week but still no breakdown
Oh no. So a non zero possibly of a turducken pandemic scenario with sars, bird flu, and flu.
Is the screenshot saying 19million turned in??? What a ridiculous number
Test came back positive before I could finish putting the timer on. A little anxious about longterm effects but nothing I can meaningfully do about it now.
"In North Korea, the government censors news from outside the country so the citizens can only read propaganda"
I'm sorry this happened to you growing up. I think that experiemce did give you an understanding of racism in that, you were taught younger than most white kids that there are races in this country and that has a meaning. That said, many white people told me similar stories of being bullied by the Black kids at an all Black school(some use it as ammo that reversed racism exist). I believe for a lot of white kids it's the first, and possible only, time they're explicitly racialized, but it's regular school bullying for being noticeably different hence the context doesn't leave the school setting.
Well as they mentioned, the evil regime did things to make sanctions be put on them in the first place. What things exactly? Bad things
"No no, this is a revolutionary technology but we HAVE to charge people for it." Haha the contradictions are insane
I whole heartedly agree. My complaint is towards people who think we still live in a democratic state and can therefore just vote our problems away or that another election cycle will solve this.

Ended up in twitter discourse, which is how I know my time there is ending.
I don't know if sukimom is arguing that patriarchy doesn't exist at all, and I don't think she's arguing it either, but she brings up very good points that specifically Black men are targeted by the state differently than other men and therefore do not have the same systematic patriarchal power. Where people are getting lost is the systematic ties to patriarchy, as opposed to individual. But these past few days on Twitter disgust me with these racist attacks on Black men as more violent, more sexist, evil, and therefore deserving of systematic oppression by the state. They even tried to bring in Indian men and Palestinian men as a gotcha that it's not all Black men but men.
I hate MRA but am starting to recognize where some of their concerns are valid, specifically for Black boys and men. Misogyny and patriarchy affect both genders and race differently. Misogyny says women are meek but misogyny for Black women say we're loud and powerful. Misogyny for men say they aren't caretakers and don't deserve diaper changing rooms in their bathroom, misogyny for Black men says anything they do wrong to a white woman deserves corporeal punishment.
Anyway, I don't remember where I was going with this. Just some thought as my worldview is developing. Men of color are targeted by the state too even if they're men, who historically have systematic power.
