It's not bad to hate any religion imo. As long as the hater isn't conflating religion with race/ethnicity it's all kosher. The real problem here is that if a lot of people hear you say that, chances are high that some idiot will misunderstand what you meant and form an angry mob. So that's why you don't say it, or at least be aware of phrasing and audience to cover your ass

If you know any significant number of people that voted for the rapist it's hard to ignore the distinct possibility he actually won. I hope it comes to light that he didn't and he gets booted, but lots of people are still cheering this on. I have family members cheering this on, so anecdotally I feel like he got the votes

That is a bizarre twist... So a former Muslim who now hates Islam wants to pose as an islamic terrorist, hoping nobody finds out he's anti-islam afterwards, I just don't understand his plan. If he's right about the state of islamic terrorism (which I wouldn't know since I don't live there) he shouldn't have to contribute to it for people to notice

What I like about lemmy so far is downvotes don't effectively censor people like they do on Reddit. Reddit collapses downvoted comments which I think is kinda fucked up
