I consider them being ridiculous is a whole point? It's often fun for me reading those, especially when they're pushed ad absurdum.

Is it the same as "Kaeng tai pla"?

Interface looks very similar to SkyUI 🧐

Those features though, I hope other RPGs consider them carefully:

  • You can send items from inventory to your home base with a single click
  • Consumables don't weight anything so you can carry infinite potions

This is just way too casual/reductionist imo. At least make some mechanic that justifies sending items. Like an item teleportation spell or something. Imo it's okay if some RPGs will be as convenient as this, but asking for every RPG to be like this is just too much.

It's been going on for maybe few days for me, could be on my side, but I tried VPN servers from different countries and it didn't seem to change anything, other Lemmy instances and sites work as usual. Here, opening a thread sometimes takes minutes. Sometimes it just hangs and ends up rendering empty page and you have to refresh in a few minutes to get there. Those issues aren't permanent, they come and go, it may be laggy for 10 minutes and then totally fine for other 10 minutes. It's laggy very often though. Anyone had similar issues?

Theoretically maybe, but empirically, humanity was completely unstructured at the beginning and currently not a single anarchist society exists. Why do you think everyone transformed into various kinds of nation-states eventually? Because nation-states were exceptionally good at filling that "power vacuum". To overpower nation-states, something at least comparable is needed. Transnational corporations/syndicates/unions, something like that.

Responsible anarchism is a good ideal to aim for, but in pure form it's utopian. Realistic way to get closer to this ideal is shifting to stateless/borderless societies that center around some alternative entities other than geopolitical nation-states.

Have a nice journey! Me using Lemmy started as "1 month popular sites alternatives challenge" which I arranged for myself after growing increasingly more annoyed by moderation at sites like Reddit and 4chan. Some other systems I started using more as a result of that are Mastodon and Bluesky.

Why use photos when you can just memorize the picture in your head? 🫠

The goal is to be on so many that SQL JOIN goes OOM 😅

It's a bit of a secret feature, but there is strafe actually, even two ways of doing it, using original DOS bindings: < and > or alt + left/right arrow.

I'm using Logitech MX Mechanical Mini. It has nice subtle lavender white backlight. Other notable thing about it is, it's wireless and comes back after inactivity in fractions of second. Something many wireless mechanical keyboards struggle with.

There are so many things that look goofy yet you choose to post a perfectly fine dragonish character. This one looks good to me.

To be fair, they were smart enough to get some exposure even without accepting the deal. This is not the first place I see this discussion and some people are definitely going to check their stuff now out of curiosity.
