Which is kind of bullshit because prosecutors cannot be trusted to tell the truth or ascertain as such. A crime is a crime and should be charged and not treated differently because the prosecutor has caused to impute motives that might never have been there.

The fools that passed these laws knew or should have known that people like Pam Bondi would be wielding them sooner or later. It did not take a lot of foresight to see how these laws would be abused but here we are.

The kind of ignores the fact that government behind the scenes leans on social media to ban users they do not like as was seen with the Homeland Security Department. They got cause from the far right and then predictably used it more against the left.

Or with israel, you won't get banned for what you are getting banned for, they find some other pretext and because we have a zero rights online they don't have to find something that is actually against their rules to ban you.

Social media is a public utility and needs to be regulated as such. It should be still at the state level as the feds will not do it in any good way. We should have a right to Fair enforcement of the rules, to know the decisions that went to into taking enforcement actions, and being able to appeal to a jury of our peers or whatever.

The courts will find a way to allow them to stack the Fed so they can juice economic growth with low rates. Not only are the courts and especially the Supreme Court Federalist Society hacks chosen to side with party over law, but I believe they have dirt on these guys that could end their careers if they crossed the party.

Given the Supreme Court just canceled the federal courts from issuing Nationwide injunctions putting us all at the mercy of this Administration I have zero faith the court will protect the Republic from being overthrown in all but name for a one party autocracy.

That was perhaps the worst decision the Supreme Court has ever made which will become clear in time. Leaving no way for the courts to stop violations of law systematically by the government. No way to stop martial law and citizens or not being disappeared into Federal Detention on the Declaration of an emergency for instance.

Yes such a tragedy we will be without kirk's contributions to society, he was such a uh, uh, something something.

This kilmeade guy is a real pos, these are just the first others they want to Target, there is a very strong backlash against the homeless in blue and red States so they want to set the precedent on this.

There is no bottom or end to this though. The ones supporting such things will be subjected to it themselves in time. And not as much time as one might think.

Straight into the abyss, without strong opposition leadership we are going full Nazi here you better believe it.

The anti-weed forces commissioned these studies to start at it is bad and reverse engineer the study to come to that conclusion. It is a well-developed industry, every company engaged in using and improperly disposing of toxic chemicals does the same thing. Marijuana is not bad for you. If you use toxic pesticides, that would be bad for you. Or contaminated dirt to grow it.

He already bullied countries into backing off silicon valley regs and penalties, the eu appeased him so far.

The eu does not need the us they should have held firm, but I guess they are too busy trying to lock down the internet and read everything everyone has done online.

All of the west has had conservative aristocrats take over their mainstream parties, the only reform vote is the far right misdirecting anger from the plutocracy to immigrants and everything else.

Without getting a popular reform option fascists will seize the entire west with russia and the us helping behind the scenes, and fix elections like in hungary or however and we will not be able to get rid of them even as they get worse every cycle.

The western european countries will fall like dominoes with current leadership and lack thereof. We need to organize first, then find and groom real leaders, then take elections and direct anger to it's sources, the super rich.

What do the other political parties in denmark say?

Sounds like they need new leadership.

The courts have been cancelled so do not expect them to defend the constitution. Even if they do they will allow loopholes to allow it anyway, as preposterous as their reasoning will be.

It is clear they are idealogues on the courts, but also that they are compromised by the admin, career ending dirt on them. Just like the borgia pope appointing compromised cardinals, and compromising existing ones with prostitutes.

Earning himself the nickname of the whoremaster of rome. Borgia pope is early 16th century, that machavelli's the prince was based on.

Smaller countries are easier to get new governments in. The bigger it is the harder it is to oust a leader, let alone get better leadership in after.

I think these south asians are on to something with their methods of protesting here, idk if I can say this on here but targeting the homes of lawmakers garnered by corrupt means, and government buildings, seems to be a good strategy.

Sri lanka, indonesia, and nepal all did this recently and I think I am missing some even.
