Anwalt ist vielleicht ein schlechtes Beispiel, da die Kollegen sehr spitzfindig sind was Gesetze angeht. Ich kenne einen Anwalt und die stellen sich sogar unter Kollegen gegenseitig eine Rechnung.
Unter Freunden ja da ist das natürlich schwierig. Mein Gefühl würde hier sagen, dass es vom Umfang abhängig ist. Wenn es wirklich etwas ist das ich für einen Freund kostenlos tun würde, dann ist es ja ok. Aber für eine Woche Vollzeit Arbeit würde es wohl um mehr als nur einen Gefallen gehen.

This is correct. It could even be part of the application process. I would write them an email that the obvious fake one didn't work and you'll not put your SSN on that site for security concerns. Especially not in the application phase. If they reject you for that you have dodged a bullet.
