and drank the "technology will make everything better bro trust me" kool-aid

ugh same. got caught up in the ridiculous tech-optimism of the early-to-mid 2010s. I thought self-driving cars and VR were the frickin' future. it's hard to imagine now but there was so little public criticism of big tech back then

oh yeah it's very similar to the top left one, like they started with that and just cut some notches out of it

ok I get that the Ukraine thing was a reach but it was the combination of yellow and green in those exact shades that immediately made me think of zelensky-pain

I think the trick is to use more rounded and curved shapes instead of hard angles

for example, I wouldn't tend to think "fascism" when looking at a traditional triskele

but contrast that with the nazi versions of the triskele: (CW for nazi hate symbols)

actually that 2nd one is pretty similar to the shoe logo, hmmm

I wouldn't have mentioned Ukraine if it was just green, it's the combination of yellow-on-military green that I found very reminiscent of that shirt Zelensky is always wearing. maybe a stretch but I feel like whoever designed this was inspired by Ukrainian military wear, intentionally or not. & I wouldn't say everything from Ukraine is fascist but their military has certainly aligned itself with neo-nazis

it was really the symbol that felt fashy to me more than anything though. hard geometric lines and rotational symmetry will always make me think of nazi symbols. like "copy my homework but don't make it too obvious" but with a swastika

came here to say this, pretty much exactly what OP is asking for. it's a product that's been on the market unchanged since 1991 because it's industry standard

the only drawback is that the cord is not detachable, and there is only a coiled option. some people even make detachable cable mods and sell them. I don't know why Sony doesn't do this themselves, or at least offer a straight cable version

I just had a zombie outbreak dream that took place on a train but it was kinda chill because I wasn't actually present, it was like watching a movie but in immersive 3D.

but I've also had some incredibly terrifying and visceral dreams where I was trying to survive a mass shooting, those ones fucked me up bad. that and the one where I was trapped in a hedge maze with a bear. fuck that

I actually wasn't aware, so thanks for the link. I'm still pretty ignorant when it comes to the union stuff but I will read up on it as much as I can. glad to know there's an org out there fighting

it's wild to me that CCA's start at $20/hr regardless of location. that might actually be livable (if not great) in some places but unfortunately I'm in a very HCOL area so that's a poverty wage. $30 would be a huge improvement but still barely livable here
