Thanks. Really well explained. Thanks for sharing this.

I don't have that data, and I don't feel like to know! But you seem pretty knowledgeable in these calculations. So what's the hypothesis behind it? How can you say all these stuff?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Well, with all due respect, I didn't know what it meant, so I asked, and I feel asking questions about unknown things is not wrong. So, sorry if you're annoyed, but I'm not offended or annoyed by your witty joke/comment, if you're considering it one!

Ohhh, so there's this much background information regarding this? I never knew, but I never had the feelings to post in polcom when I used to be in reddit. So, all of it is basically made up?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 8 months ago

Ohh ok, that's soothing. Thanks. I deep down agree with great communist leaders and their ideals, so, when my results came out as lib-left, who are usually trolled and criticised by auth-left (afaik), I was shocked!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 8 months ago (6 children)

Wait what? And I don't like trotskyism! I mean, I don't agree trotskyists! And what's with signs and political ideologies? I still don't get you, or convinced with your elaboration!

Ohh, yes I felt that, there were couple of questions regarding what's my point on LGBTQ, sex outside marriage, moral policing in schools, etc, to which my answers were disagree or strongly disagree, based on the frame of questions.

Haha, ok, but my question is, if I still think I am Marxist leninist, and I support Stalin, mao, castro and others to some degrees, and defend their idealogies, mostly in arguments, but still having some levels of mercy i(I guess because while I answered I noticed, and I was sure that I may be a lib), would make me a lib? Or woke-commie?

And how to improve myself? I read, but what should I read more? What idealogies should I read more?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 8 months ago (6 children)

Sir, what does that mean? I'm genuinely asking. I don't believe in zodiac/astrology

I thought I was an Auth-Left, but turns out I'm a Lib Left? Am I allowed here in lemmygrad.ml? And what idealogical learning, unlearning and changes I should make to myself?

He's much needed, rn.

Can someone please tell about ISP spying in India?

  • Like how far they can legally collect data? And illegally collect data?
  • How, and what data they collect?
  • How long does they store the logs?
  • What are the privacy practices to prevent these ISP spying?

How come he bombed Japan then? Isn't that inhumane? Also kinda he compared himself to death and been bit sanatanic. I could not comprehend this, because how can someone be in two opposite extremes?

Was oppenheimer a communist? Or a right-wing leaning/rightist?

I'm a beginner, and I am looking to self host mostly everything.

Like, what I planned for so long is to, get a rpi4 b+ or le potato, and connect it to a 5 TB hard disk (initially) and dump all my data into it, and degoogle (because I'm not in any proprietary platforms). I wish to have it as my personal server, which I can Access from anywhere. And put upload and download data. And expand it whenever required. I also want to self-host my lemmy and invidious instances (from seperate setup like this). Is this what you all call self-hosting? Or it's too basic and there are lot more advanced stuff that I'm unaware of? Also how to start? Where to start? Is there any guide for a beginner like me?

Which OS has the steep learning curve and is considered hardest?

  • Gentoo ( I have been using it for 3 years now, until I have to switch to Ubuntu for research sake. I love it's philosophy and I kinda feel even my lifestyle changed after Gentoo. Tried it's successors, redstar, cosmic mod didn't liked much.)
  • Arch Linux ( when I got into Linux, everyone was like, I use arch btw. So tried it first with gnome, then kde, then i3, then i3 gaps and tui, then used openrc, then used runit. Helped me lot to install Gentoo. But Gentoo transformed me into something else)
  • Nix OS ( I was hearing about it since 2022. I wanted to try, and now I am gonna install and use it. I'm planning)

My question is, which among these is considered to be hardest and thus by mastering it, one can master linux to atleast some part? (excluding network management, ofsec, netsec, forensics, etc)
