HAD a one seat majority. Until the special elections take place, the Republicans now have a one seat majority.

Context? Apparently I've been living under a rock...

As I vaguely recall from an NPR Marketplace story I once heard, once a rancher treats his antibiotics-free cow with antibiotics it is pulled from the herd and sold as antibiotics treated beef. Or at least, that's what they are supposed to do .

That isn't why it was demoted. It was demoted because it kept insisting it was a real priest and could do real priest things like hear confessions, etc. My wife was quite holier than though about it.

I'm torn. On the one hand, you are right. It does seem to be a MAGA voter constant that they don't see the evil of their actions until the feel the consequences personally. On the other hand, we Americans all need to eat, and we now cannot painlessly import our food.

I agree. This is shaping up to look like a constitutional crisis ala Andrew Jackson. As an American, I am terrified of the prospect, but can't bear to look away.

You are arguing that Republicans are, ”To busy keeping their job to do their job”. While that may be true in some cases, I fear that for some of them, breaking the Supreme Court like this was the goal all along.

This is the best response I've seen.

It's cheaper to pay the fines when accidents happen than it is to run the trains safely. Just the cost of doing business.

I'm sure the historic flooding happening didn't help, either.

Out of curiosity, what is the Titus 2:5 reference?

You shouldn't hope for this. If he is assassinated, they turn him into a martyr.
