I actually tried to message a couple of people trying to get help from the author so we can translate the subtitles, I'll let u people know if I have any luck. I just asked for the original portuguese subtitles, then we can translate it and the author will only have to upload the new subtitle

This video was made with the help of some people in brasil who really studied DPRK and the Korean War.

I'm trying to figure out if and how can I put some subtitles together in the official channel, and I'm trying to contact the channel directly to ask if they have any plans to do that.

We don't see a lot of Ukrainians around here. Do you think Ukraine will surrender to Russia and try to maintain most of its territories, or will it fight until the last Ukrainian dies and lose a lot more? I know for u to be under russian control would be hell too as they are conservative homophobics.

It's such a shame the West made Ukraine refuse the early negotiations where they would maintain most of their land. A lot of people would still be alive, and China, the EU, and China would guarantee the deal...

I don't know a lot about Gonzalo. Can you elaborate further? What was his "official" reason to do this? He was just a fucking racist boiling indigenous babies?

No, this is a retaliation for the attack on the Iranian embassy

It's probably because it was cheaper than going to the US, and they were doing top-tier science.

I actually had a couple of professors from the physics department in my uni here in Brasil who lived for some years in the URSS to get their PHD. Never talked about it with them though

I dont know if your question is an honest one, but the same as always, money for their candidate, media campaign against the left candidate. 25 or 50 years from now, the exact how will be declassified, then the liberals will say, "This was long ago, cia don't so this anymore," while Cia is still doing it...

As a South american I just can't disagree with this...

The only time we had a true left government CIA overthrow it... We just hope that Allende never again 🥲

Critical support for comrade Marco Rubio, doing his best to destroy the US from inside

I think it's funny whenever someone says things like this. From what I see, and correct me if I'm wrong, the US has a one party and one tendency the split in two colors to pretend they are a democracy. I see more disagreements in ANY congress of ANY ML party anywhere around the world than I see between democrats and Republicans. Damn, the all-authoritarian see see peas for sure have at least a hundred times more diversity internally than they will ever have. So is not a option for any party to side with the workers, they all dance for the same masters.

Okay, I'm a Brazilian atheis but let me give u some trivia about Brazilian catholic church and the liberation theology.

The Brazilian catholic church backed the military coup in Brazil in 1964 but a lot of their members were actually left wing and a lot were communists. One of the most famous was the bishop Dom Helder Camara. He once said something like "if I give bread to the poor they call me saint, if I ask why they don't have bread they call me communist".

The first UNE(National students union) congress after they were banned was held in a church's basement and was heavily supported by local priests. UNE was banned because it was heavily dominated by a lot of communist parties and tendencies as well as other left wing parties. Most of the best, and worst, left wing politicians we have were in UNE in the 70s and 80s.

That being said, this monument is easily the most recognizable we have right now so I totally understand the choice.
