This is good, I'm thinking maybe there are doors that send them back to the start that are marked subtly on the map but look normal in the dungeon so they'll have to work together to figure out why they keep getting sent back to the start and which doors are safe.

My party consists of five people across multiple states playing using roll20. Because of people traveling for the holidays, all but one of us will be near the same place, so we're going to have our first in-person session, a one-off where they'll have to climb a tower, fighting enemies and solving puzzles.

I've set it up where the absent player is trapped at the top of the tower near the big bad and they're going to charge up and rescue him.

My idea is that he can overhear what the boss is saying and communicate telepathically with the rest of the party to tell them hints about puzzles or enemy weaknesses and such. He's down to do this by phone or text.

Does anyone have any ideas for puzzles that could incorporate the missing member in a fun way?

I assume it's a search and rescue dog with a microphone. It found the hostages and they told it they had snuck out, hoping the army would be on the lookout for them, but either nobody listened to the recording or nobody gave a shit about rescuing hostages.

To give a sense of how integrated the Israeli lobby is into US law and society, two of my friends have an anti-BDS clause baked into their lease. They could legally be evicted for boycotting Israel in c/[email protected]

They probably figure it's extremely unlikely to come up. Unless you have:

  1. A tenant who boycotts Israel
  2. And tells their landlord about it
  3. And the landlord wants to get rid of them
  4. And the landlord can't come up with a more conventional excuse
  5. And the tenant knows their rights and has the resources to fight

Nobody would likely challenge it.
