A good one. I’ve also made an attempt before with this during the Patrick Starship Enterprise fiasco/masterpiece: Mariner reassures Quimp, " Don't worry! You'll have another Star Trek performance!" Quimp asks, confidently, "It'll be reprising Quimp for Lower Decks Season 5, right?" Mariner then proceeds to drink a shot. Quimp then morphs into Spongebob Squarepents and, less self-assured this time, asks, "It'll be reprising Quimp for Lower Decks Season 5, right?"

I should do one without SpongeQuimp, though.

Oh certainly. OP is probably doing something wrong. This was just a good excuse to vent about real problems with GTK.

You forgot "City on the Edge of Forever", unless you meant late 20th century.

Yeh. I'd imagine at least in urban areas, they'd be reclaimed. In more unpopulated areas, I could see them becoming hiking/biking trails, or maybe just being left intact in some places for the few hobbyist car drivers left. (I mean, Kirk's stepfather owned a Corvette in the Kelvin films, though that had Nokia product placement for some reason. We'll just say that temporal cold war stuff allowed Nokia to last a bit longer and make car accessories, and that this is still a very old stereo.)

I feel like the marketing for Artificial Idiocy comes down to three words: "Resistance is futile."

As put aptly by one text (which I have yet to read): "When you trick somebody into participating in a small-time fraud, it's called a 'scam'. But when the scam is so big that people have no choice but to participate, it's called 'economics.'"

Man, I swear in DS9:"Bar Association" that Rom had the 2016 DC Flintstones comic pulled up on his PADD while doing research.

P.S Like the person in the video, I too use Linux.

I really wish we'd gotten more T'Lyn time. She needed at least one more episode focused on her.

That be the one. I received it twice.

Thanks. My singular brain cell for some reason missed that button.

I'll check later because I'm really busy, but I think if you go a bit before or after in the episode, there's a lamp on the wall where you say Kim 7 is.

Also, I don't know why I said MS Paint or something - I literally used GIMP to do a circle in one of my images. I can't believe I accidentally promoted proprietary software, when I should be promoting Ensign Kim! (Although I believe an okudagram in Prodigy that says he was a Lieutenant at the time of the show, so he really doesn't stay an ensign forever in the Prime Timeline.)

Based. I find Desert Moonrise kind of vile. I don’t hate painting, but the colors look too Ubuntu.

I have basically the same laptop (it's an E16, but with the same CPU - it's just the 16-inch version of your laptop). Make sure you press enter, press F1 to go into BIOS, then go into Security > Secure Boot and enable "Allow Microsoft 3rd Party CA". That worked like a charm for me.

If you're still having problems, try writing down the steps you have taken (down to the key combinations; some pictures would be nice as well). I should have all the same settings menus.

Don't worry, though, you've made a good choice; I've been loving my Thinkpad E16.

Boot off the live boot disk and, after mounting everything, chroot into your Fedora install. Then try rebuilding your initramfs (I don't know the command for Fedora, but I'm sure it's simple enough).
