You’re right. I gotta be going where my heart will take me.
I need to give those a harder listen. I do like how the Prodigy theme combines cinematic and TAS vibes. Also, I like how SNW riffs on the TOS theme.
Also, my "call" is indeed a tongue-in-cheek way to say I hope that Westlake can continue in Star Trek. Admittedly, I probably should have communicated that in a more precise, less melodramatic mode.
How far did you actually get into Prodigy?
10, plain 11, 7, and funny enough, Server 2022 are all legit licenses (I can get a key for server through my university). Actually, I'm pretty sure the 11 one, I upgraded a Windows 7 VM to 10, then to 11.
Every other Windows version that needs it (11 LTSC, 8.1, and Vista), I just temporarily host a phony KMS server whenever it needs to be reactivated.
I apologize for talking so much about Windows on a Linux sub. May Stallman break into my house and give me 10 lashes as I slumber.
Don't blame Janeway. The real culprit is the same person who killed trans icon Jadzia Dax: Rick Berman. 😉
In all seriousness, I agree with you. Seven was a good character that the writers and producers made some egregious mistakes with.
I think our whole timeline spans from some Romulan plot about something involving handing a compilation of Federation history to some weird guy... What was his name? Gene Roddenberry?
My grandfather was Alaskan, you know...
And Elim Garak's the weird uncle.
I’m just the tiniest bit mad because someone gifted me the 1st edition last Christmas right before the new one. My main hope is the 2nd edition explains the rules better. I did notice better explanations in the quick start guide Modiphius has on their website and hope for the same in the book.
I’ve heard of people coercing even my graphics card, an RX 580. However, I avoid generative AI for ethical reasons and also because Microsoft is trying to shove it down my throat. I really hope that copyright law prevails and that companies will have to be much more careful with what they include in their datasets.
On a random note, I once talked about Firefox with a friend, and he texted me a few weeks later about trying it. More successful than my Linux spreading, although part of it was he used a Surface and having gone through the pain on my Surface Go myself, I wasn’t sure I could impart that suffering to someone else.
I could see it your way. My main gripe is it feels like saying the left side of my brain went to heaven while the right side stayed on earth.
I guess in some ways, this part of the debate mirrors the confusion of Worf post-Jadza and just the overall nature of afterlives in general.
