I'm going to try Nix as my desktop OS. The only thing stopping me up until now is I like running the same OS that I run on servers (Debian). Do you think there's a good use case for Nix on servers?

Thanks God there's someone else that has this opinion. I love the actor but I didn't like the Q character at all, and didn't like the general concept of him either.

I tried this, but it kept saying 'Engine failed' or something on every other search. I never could figure out why. I might try again

Edit: Actually it was Searx I used. I'll spin up Searxng and see if it's improved

Thankfully, I don't think Lemmy needs millions of active users to be good. Even currently there's more than enough content for me and I still expect it to grow
