A system being slow and inefficient makes defrauding that system similarly slow and inefficient. To affect an election run on paper ballots you have to somehow physically alter or insert thousands or millions of pieces of paper without being detected. This will mean spending large amounts of time and money and must necessarily involve numerous people.

I would say that "electronic voting" means that the ballot itself is digital rather than physical. So, scantrons are not electronic voting and voter registries/ID/etc. are not ballots in the first place.

I'm sympathetic, but writing a book is not something most people do regardless of their disabilities. Writing is a talent, and most people don't have it. So it makes no sense to invoke the ADA here.

That's not really what they're saying. Instead, they're saying that it's obvious which commenters only read the headline.

I work for/with a religiously-affiliated charitable organization, so doublespeak is pretty constant. Worse, not only do people use it but they also police the speech of those around them.

That still is basically saying that men don't need or deserve any help. But stats like suicide, homelessness, and incarceration rates suggest otherwise.

In the UK, according to my extensive 3 seconds on google, men are nearly 3 times more likely to commit suicide; 5 times more likely to become homeless; and almost 24 times more likely to be incarcerated.
