Hey everyone, I'm currently in a pretty precarious position. Moved to Mexico with my husband over genuine concerns he'd be targeted by ICE in the US, and concerns over my therian identity, gender identity, and disability in 2025. I've been searching for work for over 12 months now, and after hundreds upon hundreds of applications being sent out, I have only gotten a single interview. My husband is in a similar boat. I am a resident, but I don't yet have a work permit here, so I am unable to work locally.

I'm not usually one to ask for money so I'm not quite sure what to write here, but we're in a position where we really need it. Where we live, the cost of living is pretty reasonable, so we're only asking for $2,000 total right now to cover everything, but any amount helps. I've got a disability that makes full time work pretty difficult, but even so I have been applying to any and every job I'm able to do. If you have any networking opportunities for remote work, I would also love to hear from you.
