First thing I thought was whether we have an equivalent community to r/ihadastroke. And it looks like we do! https://lemmy.world/c/ihadastroke

Jumping in to second immich-go, just used it recently. I had no issues other than Google Photos not giving me the data for shared albums (most of mine), which seems to be a Google Takeout issue.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, can you clarify? For example, I took that as a question that makes someone think about how they could be making the world a better place.

Yes, thank you for mentioning the real solution - less cars of any kind. Public transport, cities where you can walk around, and bikes are pretty great too.

15 minutes before my alarm or my partner's goes off, the bedroom lights start to gradually fade on for the next half hour. A few minutes after that the HVAC gets reset to daytime temperatures. The hallway light turns on before we get out there, and if it is still dark outside (this time of year in Canada!) the entrance lights and kitchen lights also turn on ahead of time. Lastly it gets the dehumidifier started for the day and turns off Night Mode across all my automations.

Usually it results in us waking up gently, a bit before our alarms and we can turn them off without any blaring sounds.

Lol, that must have been after the courses describing all the laws in my country, how to pay taxes, and general adulting - which somehow I missed. As a kid I thought that might be how that worked, but it turns out there is too and you have to go out of your way to learn some of those things.

Muck can be a pretty hilarious time with a bunch of friends. Practically any Halo game has some kind of game mode that a bunch of friends can enjoy.
