Oh yeah, that is included in the final product. There are many projects that are doing what you mentioned. I want to make my project unique somehow so I can have something to market and price differently.

If you’re in a country where $15k is a substantial sum of money, then this simply won’t work.

Price per Square Meter to Buy Apartment Outside of Centre -- $1500/m2 Volkswagen Golf 1.4 90 KW Trendline (Or Equivalent New Car) -- $45K International Primary School, Yearly for 1 Child -- $12K

I think there is enough wealthy people in the city.

Btw $5K land would be priced at $20/m2. It is the current market rate

way more than $15k of value for their life (camping, relaxing, sporting, etc.)

I thought about offering things like free monthly massages, gardening lessons, community events, weekly dinners, etc but I think most people just want to be left alone. I think most value I can create is by making the land look pretty. But I might be wrong. Any ideas on that?

:D

I know its value if I did what others did. There are many projects in my area.

I am just trying to make my project different so I can have something I can market on the internet. This way I can sell for a higher price.

Pretty land is definitely rare here. I've never seen a similar project that is green

People drive for 2 hours to go to green areas for picnic for example. Almost all buyers of this type of land grew up in a flat and they overvalue greenery compared to someone who grew up in a house with backyard.

I told her my plans but I also found the concept unbelievable at first. Free labor? But people volunteer to experience different cultures or different ways of living and such. I met many volunteers

But that's besides the point

if it’s just random $10k properties,

For my case, that number is $5k

you may be able to land some random customers

I'd need 50 customers at that price

in the woods

My location is in the city.

Also, climate is dry so there is no such thing as "in the woods" here. "In the woods" areas are valuable here (at least emotionally). People drive for 2 hours to go to such areas here for picnic

The problem IMO is differentiating the land from alternatives. Otherwise people wouldn't pay 3x or even 2x probably. Why would they?

i can use workaway and such.

i met a volunteer who offered to volunteer for this project. she studied agriculture something in uni and has a farming license.

cost of hosting 10-15 volunteers would be like $1k/mo here.

but i guess it wouldn't be smart to rely on that. i don't even know what i'd want them to do at this point tbh

this one is agricultural land

i wish it had zoning :)

sales records are private here and people usually don't want to share that info

i could call 100 realtors and ask if they sold any "pretty" land, and if one of them sold such land, i could try to learn its sales price

maybe i could use AI to "modify" this land. and use that as marketing material and then do surveys to at least come up with a worst case number?

thoughts?

what would be the cheapest way to figure out if such people exist?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

but that is my assumption. maybe it is not worth that much

Thanks for your input! Can I ask you some follow up questions in private?

I know an outsourcing agency owner who spends $5K on Linkedin to find 1 client but I can't spend that much money because I am just starting out. I didn't keep in touch with him so I'm asking you instead.

When we talked he said I'd buy manhours for $20/hr in my country and sell for $30/hr in his country. He was a nice dude and said I should give it a try.

PS. I have a CS degree but I remember nothing. I got D from OOD course
