Hugo was born out of Google so it has all of the same benefits and drawbacks as every Google project (both internal and external):

  • Lots of capabilities. You name it, it's a feature.
  • To support all of those capabilites, there's abstractions for everything -- enough to make you go a little insane if you have to go through the code.
  • Lacking documentation. Nobody gets promoted for writing docs, so if you really need to know how that feature works, you have to go through the code.
  • May be abandoned at any time (but pull requests/CLs are always welcome).

I really wish they'd just fix it. For whatever reason, the app just fails to connect to my phone. I already made sure it's trusted and tried all of the USB options.

The only transfer method that seems to work for me is adb pull and adb push.

It's a linear extrapolation, Michael. How big could the error be? 10%?

I'm sure the building inspectors will approve my design once they finally manage to escape.

Good to be a little wary of advice that sounds too much like a self pep talk.

I'm waiting for some support subs to make it over.

It would be a very interesting IPO if every Redditor received shares proportional to their karma.

I wonder how much interest there is in bringing /u/alternate-source-bot to the news communities/sublemmies/magazines/whatever we are calling them now. I feel like there could be some utility but I haven't seen any bots in the wild yet, and I don't want to spam or otherwise overload instances.
