I'm trying to run an internet connection in my shop. Cable run will be approximately 220 to 250 ft. I have starlink on the house roof, and I've bypassed the Gen1 router that comes with the dish to connect to a TP-Link Archer AX55 Wireless AX3000 instead. I plan to run Cat6 or Cat7 direct burial in a pipe (was looking at standard black water pipe) and then have another AX3000 at the other end. Questions:
- Given my starting speed maxes out at about 250 Mbps, would a faster cable make a difference given the distance?
- Does the conduit material matter as far as type of pipe?
- Suggestions on sourcing cable?
- Any other important considerations? (I know where my buried water lines are, there's no buried electrical or other pipes)
