HBO Max comes with my ISP's fiber plan, and I like that they get 4K releases relatively quick out of theater from certain studios. If they ever fuck with the pricing or bundle I'm on though, I'm outta there.

After joining TL, I really only use it and Nyaa for torrents, and Soulseek for music.

The "why"is just that there's rarely anything I can't find on TL.

top seller by revenue

Yeah same reason the Index was previously always on the "Top Seller" tab as well, since the damn thing is $1000 lol

It's not like a ton of people have compatible hardware anyway. It'll eventually become more common as more uploaders can encode and downloaders can decode.

There are plenty of tools to get around news sites with "article limits", so I have some faith that someone will find a way around any kind of video limit as well.

The "equivalent" is already / has been pushed hard in the launcher and youtube content. Mojang / Microsoft already has it's own Feedback forum-style thing.

Doubtful, the guy who everyone ditched (Mike Zaimont) was originally the engine developer and the other oringial guy (Alex Ahad) was the one who brought the art style.

Is that even true? I was under the impression that the bulk of the original artists & devs initially left behind the original studio (Lab Zero) after the head guy was outed for sexual misconduct, but then they formed the current studio (Future Club) and have kept working on Skullgirls w/ the DLC.

That's such a disingenuous argument lol. I have a hard time imagining anyone paid for Skullgirls specifically because of the content that they altered in this patch.

It's such insane outrage over nothing, and anyone complaining so vehemently using takes like that is just hiding the fact that they're just terminally horny.

going back and changing stuff wont do any actual good for anybody

I don't think it's so outrageous to think the developers / artist came together and said something along the lines of "hey we're in a different place than we were back when we released this, and are no longer comfortable with the social/sexual/racial/etc. overtones in some parts of the game."

It's helps them, it's their work and their expression being put out into the world; they have every right to want to alter it as their moral compass shifts.

The only actually shame is that their initial work seems to have attracted a pretty weirdly rabid & horny fanbase that can't stand their change in tone.

It absolutely is the right choice, and literally 99% of all the twitter replies to their official announcement were just horny accounts mad about the game being less horny. It's pathetic.

Does anyone else feel like this game is getting super heavily marketed / talked about out of nowhere? Did they pay some big streamer to play it or something ?

It's a remake of a game from 2017/2018 that had ~100 peak players, and now it has 40K average players? just seems a little weird.
