The benefits of switching off of Microsoft are many, but include:

  • attractive people will find you attractive
  • removing Microsoft tax from biz and PCs lowers overhead costs
  • no longer have to ritually uninstall or disable Edge or MS Chatbot Assistants
  • Immediate loss of familiarity with MS bloatware frees up mental capacity for learning a new language or generation of pokemon

at this point harry potter is just another dog whistle you have to learn to recognize

love that Bowen Yang

prison labor

Yeah buddy, this was the last straw. Now the slavery empire that acts as a global hyper-terrorism force is bad. Sorry.

Ars Technica would die of an aneurysm if it stopped posting about generative AI for even 30 seconds

as they're the authority on tech, and all they write about is shitty generative AI from 2017, that means shitty generative AI from 2017 is the only tech worth writing about

"here's the source of your downvotes" even if you weren't posting from infosec, you're flashing your career choices all over the table

don't take that as a knock, i just find it humorous

i do not care about the popularity of my opinions but thanks

in 2010s they would pretend to be against Trump 1 and say stuff like "if they touch Roe v Wade, that's when I'll start burning it down" and "nazi puncher, punch nazis"

they largely did not take to the streets or burn it down in 2022 if you recall

(Except you, Jane. Thank you, Jane.)
