ABC News just covered the shooting, looks like they are running the standard Zionism = Judaism approach. This has been completely failing to run defense for Israeli actions among the public.
I don't think this will turn into a Luigi situation, mainly because it doesn't affect Americans directly, but I do think the approach will alienate more random Americans.
