The main thing IMO is to get some hands on time with it. Figure what you want, what you like, and most importantly what you would like to see improved… and go from there. See if you prefer to use it as a console, or if you want more of a gaming computer and use regularly the desktop. Maybe you’ll want a dock and how you want it will depend on your needs. You get my point :D

Anyway for the laptop see if you like https://nobaraproject.org/download-nobara/ specifically the Nvidia one so it has the drivers pre installed. I use it “everywhere”

You might have some polypropylene there. Really strong material! Won’t stick to shit, temperature resistant, chemical resistant, can bend without breaking… never tried it, personally but it’s interesting stuff.

Well, you replied to the original poster so that’s hardly a mistake :)

The thing is that I agree. I don’t see Star Trek being a realistic future in any way, unfortunately. Now, the Terran empire on the other hand, minus the space faring stuff? Can’t be too far away. Doesn’t change my thoughts about violence though.

Yep. No artistic skills here, fun shitposts like this one for me are only fueled by some sort of generative AI. In this instance I tried a few different models (initially I got a woman with a red shirt uniform and a bee logo, then a red shirt with yellow and black highlights, a different model gave me a buff, hairy bee in a red shirt uniform… on top of the enterprise, holding a small enterprise in a hand) but had to give up and use Flux even if it’s the most intensive to run. Hardly perfect, but it’s fun and easy to recognize :)

Alternatively: Paris is the fastest lover in the universe.

And all is well what ends well. Happy to see a requirement has been removed, ensuring it’ll remain accessible to the widest possible audience! Isn’t it nice when a massive corporation can be made to see reason and backtrack instead of going through with controversial decisions? Speaking of: fuck spez.

You know, upon further reflection you’re right. I can see some mini dv cassettes that look like they are just off the factory floors, countered by the cover of my old iPhone 5 that’s sewage colored so that’s probably what comes after yellow, my old G-Shock is yellowing and that’s impressive given it’s dark gray, but the box for the Swatch Beat is crystal clear.

How is nobody doing 2+2 and figuring out we’re the “mirror universe”? At best.

It’s not a subscription plan with games, it’s a cloud service running the (supported, stuff about licensing) games you already own on Steam.

The problem with buttons is that they're expensive (relatively speaking) and ruin the advantages of having everything in a single place like the HA app.

I am not giving access to "everything" to everyone in the house: I already managed to accidentally turn off the 3D printer mid print instead of a light, shouldn't expect others to be better than me.
