I went silver with grey braided solo loop, it's like the sweatpants of apple watches

I ordered the watch with a size 7 solo loop and it was kinda loose. I remeasured and I was right on the line between 6/7. I went with 5 for the braided loop, I’m hoping it loosens up a tiny bit haha

I looked everywhere, the best I could do was 10% veteran discount

Finally gave in and got the Apple braided solo loop. None of the Amazon knock offs fit good and look as good as the Apple genuine band. I got the 40mm SE2 because I have a small wrist and I used the watch for golf and sleep tracking, so small and light is best!

They are ridiculously overpriced. I just bought a braided solo loop and I feel like I’ve never overpaid for something more in my life lol. The Amazon ones didn’t have the proper size, they didn’t look as nice either, but I could get 10 of them for the price of one genuine Apple band.

I know people say to order one size down. I have a size 7 solo loop that feels a bit loose. When I use the print out measuring tool, and wrap it tightly without overly squeezing, I get right at the end of 6. Should I order a size 6 braided solo loop? Or 1 size down, to size 5?

I don’t get why anyone gets anything more than the cheapest version. I had a 3rd gen and eventually I couldn’t even do software updates and the battery barely lasted a day. I’d get the stainless if the battery was replaceable… but they aren’t. So I just got the SE2, it does what I want, and it’s super light (I used it for shot tracking while playing golf)
