The article did warn you it was Alabama. It could have been Arkansas, except they sold their boats for meth.

The term you're looking for is 'Horizontal Conduct' and it's illegal. The hard part of course is making that claim against the team of lawyers that Google would be able to field.
It's not as bad if you use separate chairs.
Apparently $2mil wasn't enough to find him a lawyer.
Kind of surprised it's not being challenged due to preemption by the FCC, or interstate commerce clauses. I would expect for that though, out of state companies would have to sue in federal courts.

That's a simple statement of current US policy. The US supports the status quo of limited independence of Taiwan under the government of China.
Mainly it's an attempt to not have to fight with China about technologies that are manufactured in Taiwan, while still keeping global access to that tech. As the US and other countries invest heavily in chip manufacturing though, it will become less and less important that Taiwan stay independent.
Personally I think the only problem with nuclear is that it has to be near a large natural water source that stays very stable. Due to already ongoing climate change, there's not a lot of safe large bodies of water. Either you're so far above sea level you risk running dry, or your so close that you're at risk of flooding. There are still some places it's a good idea, but they're few and far between.
