I own an induction stove now and would agree with this. The induction makes hot spots which are inconsistent across my larger cast iron pan, requiring me to rotate the pan or move food in the pan around to get everything evenly. My families gas stove does not have that issue at all with similar pans. I wonder why the down votes? Ive had to change the way I think about even heating with the induction stove.

But it sure is fast and I used to leave my old stove on accidentally too often. The induction turns itself off pretty quickly when the pan is removed.

How can you tell? Just curious as a Marine veteran. We used to do jumping jacks and pushups in the gas room until the last man couldn't take it anymore. Those were the days!

Edit: Oops nm, I found the source on this guy.

I live alone and one of these biscuit containers popped open inside my fridge by itself! It was pretty loud as it rattled a bunch of other glass in there, but I didn't realize what it was at first. I was sure someone banged on my window and was super paranoid all night. Scared the hell out of me lol so dumb.

I just bought one of these! First press on, then wait a second for the pan to be detected, then select the burner to turn on, then + which sets it to 5/10, then press + 5 more times for full power! The one with knobs was like double price...but hey the pan heats up quick while you are cursing at it.

Well I changed my nvidia settings from on demand to a lower value and rebooted Mint a few weeks ago. Then there was no display at all and several hours/days of searching led me to reinstall Linux again and I did not have good backups. There was probably an answer there, but my frustration with Linux is real!!! I still refuse to use anything else and flop between manjaro and mint. I think having proper system backups and a live USB ready to go is helpful...I'm much more defensive running Linux because I keep getting shitty surprises, but I still feel better about it over using windows.

It happened one of my first times around 14 years old, and it has happened a few times in my late 20's and early 30's. I've had homegrown, foraged, and store bought with similar intense experiences. I think people get hit wildly different if you are taking 12 grams, holy shit! I would never. I certainly have lost all track of what was real and where I was with lower doses than that. I believe you, but have experienced much more intense results myself with less than 12 grams. There was no understanding of reality in different scenarios.

They do and the cities around the valley here often provide free trees to homeowners and have programs where they are trying to fill in as much as they can with shade. Some subsidized by the power companies I believe, to reduce power consumption by putting shade next to homes. I ride my bike a lot around the city here and there are a lot of sections with fantastic tree cover on paths and parks. Of course there are also barren sections, but trees can grow well and it is discussed often locally to plant them.
