I just want to say I totally understand medical stuff taking forever and you just being told to wait for this, and then wait for that, and then wait for this thing, and then wait some more.

It absolutely sucks, but what to do about it.

I hope you get through it soon. I'm coming up on 4 years of going in circles and waiting.

A alien hunting telescope picking up something that defines explanations, is sort of what I expected from alien hunting telescope news, to be honest.

But it is cool nevertheless.

Missing post body. (lemmy.world)

So my first impression of this app is good, it looks and feels really good and feels easy to navigate. I really like all the colour settings especially the name for the red comment theme.

I have however found what appears to be a problem or might be me missing something, and that is that compared to my other app Jerboa the body of the posts seems to be missing on Raccoon.

Post as it appears on Racoon.

Post as it appears on Jerboa, with the missing text circled.

As of the making of this post I also see that this is also the case of the post preview, so if something looks a bit of that is probably the case.

Are you sure it's not just the podcasters that put ads on thier pods?

I have had Spotify premium basically seance launch and haven't heard a singel ad from them seance.

But I have never really listened to any pods.

Well one of the best scam hunters on YouTube lost his account to a scam. So not really a waste of time, trying Lemmy.

Something I have really learned about the "sanitize everything, think of the children" types are that the huge majority dose not mean "protect the children" they mean "ban it for everyone, because I don't like it" and a lot of them don't even know what they want removed, they just looked at the cover and said "this is bad"

Can I ask exactly why is it bothering you so much that he doesn't want to play his game the same way you play it?

Some people are just don't get bored with having the same content over and over. There is plenty of people just playing games vanilla over and over again, even the first gen pokemon ones.

As a Swede I find the current big push on YouTube to pay someone to have your personal information removed from the Internet, because "OMG your full name, birthday, address and more might be on there, and you NEED to remove it" to be exceptionally hilarious and one of the worst fitting ads I have personally gotten in a while.

Just wanted to give my thoughts on it.
