Not using it but I'd probably use it for a Lemmy app tbh. The average Lemmy app seems to have way more useful features than the vanilla desktop experience. Other than that, probably just games, although it's not like the same selection on Android is exactly stellar.
The really funny thing about Spez is that he's far from a power player in the tech scene, nowhere near the likes of Musk and Zuckerberg. But he so desperately wants to be that he actually just looks sad and pathetic in the process.
Wtf is he going to do with his stockpile of motorbikes during the apocalypse? Start a Mad Max biker crew? What a fkn loser lol.
This was basically the answer I came here to say. I immediately thought of all of the stories I've read about people throwing game controllers and punching TVs and it's fine because mommy and daddy will just buy new shit for them. If I did that sort of shit with my second hand Mega Drive then I would've kissed good bye to any childhood gaming.
Same goes for these parents that will smash up their child's computer as punishment or something. Absolute spoilt fucking brats with no appreciation for the things their money buys, raising the next generation of spoilt brats.
Yeah I like the idea behind this but the fact that out of the 12 months, this was the month that was chosen for this is fairly eyebrow raising. I'm all for men becoming better people and freeing their minds, having their own liberation movement. But then someone has to come along and specifically choose pride month for this, just making it look bad all over again. It's like men can't be happy unless it involves taking away someone else's happiness.
Woah that's actually quite the downvote brigade for Lemmy. Not too surprised at this point though, unfortunately. They've been more or less behaving themselves since you started this community but it definitely looked to me like others had also tried and failed before you came along.
And the only comment that I've had removed here on Lemmy so far (that I'm aware of at least) was talking about the horribly lopsided stats when it comes to men vs women supporting the Afd and the ideological divide in general. And that was within like my first week here lol. So this is the impression that I have of this place.
And sorry for the 3rd paragraph but on the note of others trying and failing, feels like this community is picking up more steam daily. So I don't see this one going anywhere. Definitely not without a fight.
Oh nice, first time seeing that community here, subscribed! You're welcome to post this there if you like. This isn't OC, I steal my memes and random pics from elsewhere lol.
But I do understand why some men would find it insulting
Good IMO. Maybe men need better role models. I find it alarming that men in general don't find it insulting that rapists like Tate and dumb fkn meat heads like Rogan claim to represent masculinity.
I say, keep praising men like Pascal and shitting on men like Tate. Maybe the message will finally get through.
I think I saw that setting in Eternity. Didn't notice it in Summit but there's a lot of options in Summit, so I could've easily missed it. Thanks for letting me know it's there somewhere though, I'll look for it.
Edit: yup, found it. In the misc section where I was probably tired of playing with settings at that point.
Been a while since I watched this. I think Angel does get referred to with he/him pronouns and is kinda male coded. But beyond that, he's gender non-conforming at the least but could very well be non-binary / trans.

Hey, just wanted to say / suggest, if you or anyone else here is looking for fun content to post in this community, you should check out reductress.com, it's basically an Onion / Hard Times style website but particularly focused on women.
