Oh, yeah I mean also super fair. It's just the strangest thing. Like, why him, of all people?
I mean.. I think the "Elvis never died" crowd might feel differently if Elvis was shot in the head during a televised moment in front of hundreds/thousands of eye witnesses. Harder to argue with missing skull & brain matter than an unceremonious "off-screen" death. Feels like they would have been able to actually whip up a frenzy with the martyr angle, especially if shooter was convenient for demonizing demographics.
That would have been the craziest footage of all time had it hit the mark. Wild how quick that story faded into the background.
Might've just been the glass slipper my hands needed then. Felt like a peak optimization of the sony layout, least in my mitts.
I know several folks who prefer the offset Xbox style, but I always appreciated the more symmetrical design of PlayStation. Thumbs were same height on controller for FPS or fighting genres, which I did a bunch of back then. Didn't mind offset thumbs for other games like God of War. I think the designer in me also appreciated sony's cleaner aesthetic as well.
Back in the day, I think it was Logitech or similar who redesigned a PlayStation controller with some minor ergonomic tweaks. It was a masterpiece. This was back in maybe PS2/PS3 era.
Sounds see if any modern versions exist. I'm still a Sony controller purist, having never really fallen in love with Xbox like so many others.
Fully, a MASSIVE amount of what I'm into now came from Tony Hawk games and [adult swim] and the trajectory that put me on. [adult swim] was for sure the MTV of my generation.
By the time I was watching MTV, it was still some TRL and music vids, but also a big dose of Room Raiders, etc... And it eventually fell out of fashion. [AS] definitely had their finger on the pulse of what the cool cats were to tho. Such a hip scene. I still vividly recall a bump for Boondocks featuring Flying Lotus' song Massage Situation that felt mind blowing.
Weird to think where I'd be without either.

Chaotic south Minneapolis shooting leaves at least 3 dead including officer, suspect

"A Minneapolis police officer, a suspected shooter and a civilian are dead after a shooting in the Whittier neighborhood on Thursday, the department said. Several others are injured.
Officer Jamal Mitchell died in the shooting, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said in an evening news conference."
'He was a hero, a son, a father, a fiancé, and an officer who was so deeply committed to protecting and serving,” Frey said. “Just a year ago Officer Jamal Mitchell was recognized for a heroic act in saving a number of people, an elderly couple, and that is just the kind of person that he was.'"

Now, I'm usually team ACAB but this event is a tragedy, so we're taking a day off. Jamal was one of the first to this scene, and while trying to offer medical support got ambushed and killed.
My brother was a few blocks away, but managed to be either far enough away or had good enough timing to not hear gunshots.
