Dan Wang recently gave an interview to a German rag of a newspaper. He talked about why China is so much ahead etc. (Wang studied in the US and went to a neolib think tank afterwards), how China builds bridges, parks, metro lines and so on. The German journalist literally asked "But at what cost?" And Wang started going into financial details. He was then asked the obvious "at what cost for freedom", but still, was funny to read.
Great collation of how the EU is anything but free from fascism.
Especially the last point opposing the UN Resolution shows which direction the EU is heading.
And please, for the love of people with more than 2 brain cells, no more verbatum texts from Kallas. That reads like a Trump speech.
I read somewhere that the Sahel Cooperation States (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso) want to finally create their own currency. Hope they will achieve it.
a lot of people have formed strong emotional attachments to the EU’s mythology as a result
To the extent that they defend it in every topic they come across. From Moldova to the pig lobby in Denmark and homelessness in between. Discussions about the EU starts to show signs of religious fundamentalism.
Fits the US track record.
How tf you survive
We don't. We praise the EU and build tanks.
Bur honestly, living costs are keep going up, the job market is very stale and rigid so you're stuck with a shit job. Salaries are barely keeping up with inflation. And we're talking of a 2% inflation in the Eurozone. Add on top the austerity measures across most EU countries and you have the perfect conditions for fascists rising again. I'm just so tired of all of this.
Oh and a year ago the propaganda was that with the help of AI we'll be able to work less and less. This has now done a 180 and the discussions range from cancelling a public holiday (where I always advocate for Christmas just to annoy the Libs), or working 48 hours/week.
Just like China's. Anyday now.
Saying the Soviet Union was feudalistic is really one of the dumbest things a "leftist" would say. Alas, performative leftism it is. Going through the motions, critisicing this and that capitalism, coming up with new terms like "Technofeudalism".
I agree he would openly turn against communists if it came to that. Maybe that's why "Diem25" and "Mera25" are not Marxist parties, but "anti-capitalist".

Only a balkanised imperial core is a good imperial core. /s
Probably not the right time yet, as the core is still strong enough.
