One hundred and seventy-seven thousand people.

That's roughly 3.5 per cent of Alberta's population. It's also the amount of signatures that will be needed to force a separation referendum

It can’t be that hard to take advantage of this and get a hundred other random referendums. What else should they get everyone to vote on?

If the parties don’t see even marginal gains in a region they won’t bother putting resources towards increasing that growth and eventually flipping a seat.

If we ever get away from first past the post they also need to see that it would benefit them to have second place.

It’s important to vote regardless of the outcome.

“I’ve got white children, they’re at the bottom of the hiring list here. So, there is no future for them. And the sad thing is they don’t even know what apartheid is.”

Maybe you should educate them about history and then there can be a move towards reconciliation that’s helps reduce racial violence?

In an August 2022 email, one detective noted: “In some vehicles, again [it] depends on manufacturer, the vehicle is still doing this despite the lack of an active subscription, and just sending the data back to the mother ship. This could be due to collecting user data for what the manufacturer sells it for, to providing this data to try to sell you on renewing your [subscription] package that lapsed.”

So it doesn’t matter if you’ve subscribed, they’re surveilling you.

Your statement is only accurate if tire exclusively talking about the food being imported. American fertilizer ingredients and a lot of the equipment (or materials for the equipment) come from Canada and other countries hit by the tariffs. There was an article a month ago about how the Vermont maple syrup industry is totally screwed because all their equipment comes from Canada.

The auction Hudson's Bay is pursuing with Heffel Gallery Ltd. allows items to be removed from the process if they are found to be owned by others or have historical or cultural significance that make them inappropriate for a sale.

So it can be protected and blocked for auction?

I don’t see a statue of limitation in the provinces health privacy act and thus most certainly contravenes it. In fact, the health authority doing nothing about it also contravenes it.

I don’t see why the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) wouldn’t be the investigative authority here. I also have no doubt the college of physicians where they are currently registered would be interested.
