Yes but no. It was Roy Cohn who taught him to never acknowledge he lost or was wrong.

No, to click on that link. Some would have already been registered or didn't follow through.

Impressive nonetheless, but quite different than ~500k registrations.

I'd considered making one of them a veteran lich who has conquered other versions of himself and the other a 'naive victim' lich but that was too on the nose for what Marvel had been planning to do with Kang and also narratively unnecessary.

In mine they are yuan-ti abomination liches, and since they are each other's phylactery, their bodies were intricately crafted to be serpentine ebony or ivory. Similar to yours in some ways.

Thanks for the stories, sounds like it was fun!

My vet tech wife agrees.

The antibiotics should've done the job so the cat needs attention.

I'm in Duluth, Minnesota, if you're anywhere nearby.

I'm a big guy. Tall, fat, boisterous, strong, opinionated, and outgoing. I love watching people, giving compliments, and delivering a solid joke. I make an impression on people whether I realize it or not. I'm too big to hide so I've chosen not to.

But I'm also an introverted hermit, so I almost never get to be that guy unless I've pushed myself to be out and among people.

I'm 50 and I hate that piece of shit.

Good on your friend Allen, but you should stop listening to those other two assholes.

If he dumps Vance, it'll be for Kennedy. I don't think that will impact much but I'm amazed Kennedy wasn't selected in the first place.

Trump / Kennedy signs, honestly. I guess maybe Trump thought he'd be second fiddle on his own ticket if he took that move.

This is, as others have said, a love languages thing.

Mine is acts of service. When I overstep for my wife and do things for her when she's asking for an ear, she now understands what I'm doing and why and redirects me to actually listen.

That, and she enjoys all the cooking and cleaning I do so that she can relax when she gets home.

We almost never fight now as a result of this and it's almost always a "This is what I need from you" kind of talk that we can both appreciate and respond to rather than just a screaming match.

Ask your wife for help in feeding her coworkers from time to time. That might work better. Tell her that you're concerned for them.

A whole article about two paragraphs included in the image, as well.

No need to expand on her own words, but they needed the content.

I always wondered if that was supposed to be Dave Matthews (real fans call him Dave) but the whole plan fell apart.

Left to right and actually sorted oldest to youngest we have:

Bernie Sanders is eight years old.

Miles Morales is just over four.

Abed Nadir & Troy Barnes are two and a quarter.

Maryjane is just over a year and is a foster fail. I'm the one that insisted on the failure. My dad adopted Mongo from the same litter.

Maryjane was supposed to be a Peter Parker but my wonderful professional vet tech wife was wrong this time.

Somehow everyone gets along in our house. 5 cats, 2 labradors, 1 tortoise, almost zero fights.

Hey all, I'm a cis ally in the upper Midwest of the USA. I offered a room to Keris a while back and she accepted.

She got here Wednesday night and things are going very well. She likes me, my wife, and our cats and one dog, and is learning to tolerate the other.

She has an attic bedroom that is her space alone.

She has time to unwind and figure out what she wants to do without fear of being dumped on the streets.

I just wanted to let you all know that we have taken her in and that she is safe and loved.

I've been a fan of They Might Be Giants for most of my life and have always been surprised that people universally disagree with me on this.

Linnell's songs tend to be quirkier but also shallower. (State Songs is a good example here - there isnt a song for every state and theyre often abstract to the point of meaninglessness. I expected such a project to have more inspiration behind it.

I've always found Flansburgh's more melodic and thoughtful, slightly better composed, and with a superior singing voice.

Of course they're a great duo and they play off each other's strengths. I don't dislike Linnell at all, just the songs that he sings tend to not be my favorites.

Said by one of my two DM friends to me while we were in a pizza joint together.

"Dude! Context! We are in public."

I have a bountiful life of riches. I run two games and play in three. Just a problem finding time for them all.
