16-18C is probably best. Love curling up in the duvet in the cold, but cold normally means damp too ☹️

Sleeping above 25C is miserable.

The idea is that China can't live without selling stuff to the US..... But it's easier for them than it would be for the US.

This is right by the cafe/site office/car park though. The reception desk is about 20m to the left and staffed during daylight hours year round.

Not like it's in the middle of nowhere.

I get your point, there are very few bins elsewhere (mostly by the other car parks) and that's fine. It's just that the place that gives you rubbish makes it hard to responsibly get rid of it.

Laughed at the alt text, you have to be careful with definitions!

My favourite tech interview technique was the code review style. Give them some code with a range of deliberate issues and ask them to code review it live on the call.

Tests their code comprehension and as you can ask them questions live, it's reasonably AI proof (I think). You can ask them to refactor things on the call, which tends to be something AI is weak at. It also requires no take home work for the applicant.

My company has just said that AI use in the interview is fine, but we will be asking questions as they work through it to check they actually understand things.

Iceland has loads of green energy though (geothermal & wind) and is too far from anywhere else to really transport it (although that would be nice!). So it is helping, and it is helping to advance the technology/engineering knowledge for the future.

The fracking ones being built by the oil companies are less beneficial.... Better than not doing it probably, but not exactly green..... So with you on those ones!

The Icelandic plant is NOT doing that though (just to be clear)

They're saying that if you're 55 and in that situation you are in trouble as you're running out of time to get out of the situation. In your 30s it might not be great compared to previous generations, but you still have time to turn things around.

A funny one i found on Reddit:

Glasses of hindsight: provide a passive perception of 20 of events suitably far in the past

Be careful with magic items, I let my guys buy a trident of fish command.... In a desert. But it turns out lots of snakes etc have a swim speed....

That's a shame, it did actually cause drivers/teams to do things differently to get it.

Just shows how much TSMC is really killing it.

It's extremely had to be politically neutral for a global community.

The centre of the political spectrum in one country might be left/right in another.

Then comes the extreme ideologies, are they trolling or genuine? Is that opinion considered hateful in some countries?

It's a complete minefield. Why would someone without an agenda to push even try? Most neutrals would just say 'no politics'.
