Same in Denmark. This is our first year without "Store Bededag" (single day holiday), which our useless fucking government decided to remove, as part of their war-consent-manufacturing.

Is there really a single person of this belief, after the whole HBO name-change stupidity? That is still among the worst business and branding decisions I have ever seen.

Tidal is pretty good except for the lack of podcasts. AntennaPod replaced that feature for me and made the switch easy.

Support the wrong dictatorship. You're only supposed to support the American one.

Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds. I am usually a huge SciFi fan, but I like the genre for it's ability to reflect on humanity by extrapolating on current technologies/trends or comparing our culture to unique alien ones.

Revelation Space was technobabble and descriptions of weapons for pages upon pages, and it was totally devoid of any philosophy or reflection on humanity. I never DNF a book, but this one I almost gave up on.

Wait, did the vinyl of time skip and send us back to '68?

A lot of glass bottles aren't melted down, but simply washed and reused.

Or a simple quick choice during the cutscenes, the first time that kind of scene comes up. Brutal Legend does this in such a great way.

As another Dane, I often feel like I should hate the swedes, but they make it hard to do so by being awfully nice and inventing so much awesome stuff.

I think that's the entire point of this exercise. Thinking about what making the world better would actually mean and entail.

If you need DaVinci Resolve, just know that when you switch to Linux, you will lose the ability to read and render mp4 files. You will need to buy the full version to be able to do this on Linux.

I use my desktop primarily for video editing, 3D modeling, and a bit of gaming, and it's been running Pop!_OS since December with absolutely zero issues. The only annoyance has been the mp4 file thing in DaVinci.
