While I am concerned with Biden's performance, but a debate really has little to do with his actual job, so I'm not real worried about his performance. That said, it prolly wouldn't be a bad idea to get her more involved, let her flex her skills in front of voters and such, that way if he does need to step down before or after the election, the voters know his replacement already, and what she can do.

Possible, unlikely though below the level that would make any ICE vehicle an insurance write off too, so no real reason to worry about that unless you plan on regularly driving through flooded roads

Could I get a practical truck? I'm a courier, I need seating for one, good cargo capacity and good range. I'd buy a Maverick if'n they offered it in a extended cab, I mean with how many plants make that chassis, I can't see why they can't offer an extended cab targeted at the business market.

Except that Amazon doesn't own the vans. Seriously, the entire thing is carefully sculpted BS, the drivers work for a company that works for Amazon, a company for whom Amazon is nice enough to set up with vans, computers, scanners, and everything else they need, long as they keep Amazon happy, but at any time for any reason Amazon can pull the rug out from under them. For the record, I'm a Flex driver, IE contract Amazon driver, which is why I know how the other side of the deliveries work.

No need for an Apple keyboard unless you're looking for extra function keys, a regular keyboard will work fine, and if'n for some reason you need the Mac layout, it's available, I've always used the English (Macintosh) layout so I can get easy access to keys I like to use or sometimes need.

Interesting, you don't usually see unionization at a company like this, since the hiring company will typically just fire the contractor when it happens.

And here I thought you said you were going to see a Muenster movie last night

Honestly I'm not really surprised, they're a battery company that moved into making cars. Considering how important batteries are to electric cars, if they make reliable, cheap and powerful batteries, it won't be hard to move cars, even mediocre ones, and from what I've seen, their cars are anything but mediocre.

Leaf's are prolly the hardest to do it in, IIRC the battery tech is a bit outdated, plus it uses Japan's ChaDEmo charging standard so there are far fewer fast chargers to use. It'll get easier if'n one of the truck stop... sorry, travel stop centers adds chargers to all their stores, since they usually have a restaurant there. Might need a bit more range to make the timing perfect, but it should work out well for needing a charge about the time you should be taking a break.

For me, I just like the interface better, but there isn't a whole lot of difference really

Surprised none of these reviews have mentioned the translation, that got a chuckle out of me.

True, but as they noted in the article, this gives the law a few more teeth, like the ability to extradite people, so while it likely won't effect the big corporations, I think small fly by night companies that avoid the law by moving out of state will be held accountable.

I played with an early version of this 2 years or so ago, and at the time I think it was Debian based, though there's an Arch version available. Neither one worked great, particularly the Arch version, but it was a very beautiful distro, if severely lacking in features. Still, it looked like it had potential, maybe I'll play with it again.
