I'd also add Balatro and Terraria to that list.

Fluency in spanish doesn't help with french in my experience. While both might be romance languages, french pronounciation makes it so that in conversation words are really, really hard to translate without prior knowledge on some words, at least for me. My first language is spanish, for reference. Portuguese and italian are a 50/50 depending on the accent.

And, although not as thoroughly fleshed out as Ready or Not, and not multiplayer, Black One : Blood Brothers looks interesting enough to follow. It's basically the bones of the first Ghost Recon with modern assets. I've not played it yet but it's in my library.

Yeah, meds have helped, in my case. At least benzos, but I try not to use them since they were explicitly prescribed as a last resort. I gotta book an appointment at a second doctor one of these days... It wasn't really working out with my previous doctor.

This worked until I developed GAD. Now it's hard to get motivated and hard to wind down, lol.

Prepping for a few shot in Savage Worlds I'll be DMing, and porting my homebrew I did for 5e to Savage Worlds. Just a better system, really.

Apart from that, some CK3, Rimworld, Rogue Trader, and Squad.

Hm, I might have to try it then!

Oh, does decaf make good espresso? I got pretty spoiled with my taste, living in a coffee producing country, lol.

Yup! By the latter quarter of my time in college I was up to 10 cups of strong af black coffee before midday, and a quarter pack of cigarettes. Then the pandemic hit and it was harder than ever getting cigs and was forced to quit cold turkey when I got infected. Not dealing with traffic also made the anxiety I got from coffee not managable and had to tone that down too.

I've managed to reduce my coffee intake to once a day at most, early in the AM. Mostly for the flavour. A good shot of espresso with condensed milk does wonders, but will leave me somewhat jittery since my resistance has dropped so much.

I kinda miss drinking coffee from 6am to 10pm.

Either Punk's Dead by Soft Play or I'm Not Crying, You're Crying by English Teacher

How modern? Because there's lots of artist from the late XXth who had interesting and recognizable styles that are hard to replicate, both in style and vibe. Moebius (Jean Giraud) comes to mind. It is deceptively simple, but to replicate it you need to have a solid grasp on character design, stipple shading and crosshatching, color theory, and composition. It's not traditional comic-book style, and you cannot approach it with that mindset and expect a good outcome.

Current artists, I suppose the artists behind Valorant's art? There's a lot of decision making when it comes to how much detail to include, since its very stylized. But I'd argue it's not as hard a style to replicate as Moebius'. Bartosz Kosowski also comes to mind. He's really, really good at depicting things in his style, and you'd need a solid grasp at anatomy and faces to replicate it.

So, uh, Chinese Room. Think they're the walking sim guys. Vibe looks different to the first one, less gothic punk and more succulent goth mommy. Not sure how I feel about it. Guess I'll wait for vertical slices.
