The word consumer is so demeaning...

I doubt they were trying to be complimentary.

Wasn't one of the Witcher 3 expansions already either nominated or even a winner a few years back?

then ship to a nearby country that’s not under tariffs to finish the assembly and ship from there.

The wonders of arbitrage.

If you look back at her primary in 2020, she was.

Hard to wash that off with some last minute recanting, like with fracking and other such campaign claims.

Her hand was tipped as to her ideal term in office 4 years ago, I'm surprised Trump didn't use that shit in attack ads given how much more stereotypically progressive she was then.

Personally I called it in when a clip of hers saying "we've got to get woke" (not sure about the wording but the word woke was used positively) from some talk show aimed at black people from this year came out.

You need to live in a parallel dimension to think that word is not absolutely fucking nuclear waste in the political discourse rn.

It's huge in wrestling at the moment because it's been a faction for like 3-4 years involving the actual bloodline descendents of chief Peter Maivia, which includes The Rock, Roman Reigns, the Wild Samoans, and pretty much any samoan in wrestling excluding Samoa Joe.

We're doing ok in Europe.

Even with lower salaries than the US, most people in their 30s I know have a mortgage.

I myself bought at 31 with my wife.

It's not affordable for everyone but it's doable for people with actual salaries, you just might have to compromise a bit on position or size.

How the hell do you accidentally remove fog of war from a strategy game?

That is moronic to a level I didn't expect from this, I can see why he left the negative review.

Fuck I hope not, Indiana Jones absolutely should not be a shooter.

Kind of a stupid decision to call something pre-currency and pre-codified laws "anarcho communist".

It'd be like calling something born before animal life "vegan" because it doesn't eat animals.

Technically correct, maybe, but very much missing the point of the label.

games that I really do care about and want to be able to experience on authentic hardware.

Crack the console then, ps2s have software cracks by now, and sideloading cartridges exist for a fair few portable consoles.

Basically the only one where you can't really do it is the cartridge era stuff but those can be approximated with a decent emulator, a controller adapter and a CRT screen, if you're willing to tolerate a bit of latency with output converters.

Games are fundamentally software, the hardware gives the experience but the cartridges/disks, with some exceptional cases aside, are literally just a delivery system and a means to maintain ownership.

It's nice to have them for that feeling of tangible presence but realistically that's never going to be more affordable the further we move from when they were made, but that doesn't mean you can't at least approximate playing on the hardware or straight up just do it.

they're just screwing us out of possible remakes

Bro don't make me like them T~T

Way back at the beginning of my figuring out home automation, I bought a Animus Heart.

It's ok but it's extremely limited and the UI is terribly sluggish and unwieldy, so I'd like to replace the OS with Home Assistant instead.

I have reason (my router recognising it as a such when it crashed) to believe that on the inside it's just a Raspberry Pi with some added bells and whistles.

Has anyone tried this? Is this feasible?
