Sceptre still makes TVs that are just that, no underlying smart OS

Not sure if to upvote because it was funny, or leave it because sadly it's true.

Which is why they go all the way. Can't prove self defense if you're dead.

Must be everyone living in the states that block Pornhub.

Seems like it's a backend change and they're removing per creation entirely. Got an email from one of the creators I follow about getting suggestions on how to restructure their tiers for the new system. My guess is it would be tricky to setup a way to have creators do android/web tiers and apple tiers, not to mention confusing. And of course they can't just pull a Spotify and have a pop-up that says 'sorry you must use the web to subscribe' on iPhones.

I think the idea there is that the whole Class B private range starts at 172.16.0.x so it's unlikely, that any hotel you're at would be using 172.16.42.x because it's so far irom the start of that range unless it's a chain that needs to keep its ranges separate between sites for VPN or documentation reasons.

Basically, seeing 172.16.42.x doesn't inherently mean something's wrong, and I'm sure people using the pineapple for nefarious reasons would be smart enough to change its default LAN, but if you see it, maybe be more cautious.

I used to really enjoy his Linux Sucks speeches, but man, not sure if younger me wasn't paying attention or if man went real off the deep end around 2019.

Not incorrect. Makes them sound way too cool, however.

I don't really pay attention to politics, but I thought the smart play would've been backing one Mr. Psychedelic Warlord, but at this point I think that ship has sailed.

I use a YubiKey and I like it. At this point the bulk of my 2FA is in ProtonPass, but for my work Microsoft 365 and Duo specifically it's nice to default to it and I'm more likely to have it since it's on my key ring, than my phone. Also nice to have stuff pointed to that rather than an app if you like to upgrade or wipe your phone frequently.

I think most businesses that don't provide work phones should be getting them for their employees so they don't need to require that employee install an app on their personal device.
