I have very little trust in Blizzard nowadays, and even less love for them.

Currently playing on TurtleWoW and I'm having an absolute blast! With 5.5k average concurrent players every day and all the goodies that Vanilla++ brings, I have absolutely no reason to even consider retail.

We live in a reality where corporation rule the world. They monopolize markets, pay little to no taxes, hold no accountability for their actions against people, communities, the environment. They cut off corners and feed you whatever bullshit is more profitable for them and this endless greed of theirs is only growing.

If you're not stealing some every-day, average Joe's work (looking at you fuckfaces who steal content and resell it on platforms like RedBubble), then piracy is always the (only) moral choice.

A few years into my career I started identifying bugs that are too deeply rooted within the spaghetti. For those, I just skip to step 5 instantly. Not worth the 2 years worth of reduced life expectancy trying to fix this shit.

Even if you invent some kind of automated Nazi detector

As interesting a problem as this might be (my final year undergrad project was similar in nature), the nuance of written word can be significant and difficult to detect. Making a good product and then ensuring multiple communities would adopt it is not realistic in 2023.

What is realistic, however, is a zero tolerance policy against such individuals. What we should be doing is ostracizing them. You take away their platform, you take away their power. They can only do so much damage if they're all gathered up in a single community with no ties or influence to the rest of the world.

Why give them a platform and an audience to begin with? They're the scum of the earth. Fuck them.
