Hi all,

The Palestinian family in Belgium that I am helping with has finally found a place to call home in Brussels! However, before they can settle, they need to pay a month’s worth of rent in advance and another 3 month’s worth for insurance. This adds up to a total of €4400 (of which €200 has been generously received).

They urgently need this amount in around two weeks time. Once they pay, they will finally be able to receive a stable monthly salary from CPAS which covers the monthly rent and the father will be able to attend full-time classes at the local university. The family will also be better able to seek help for the rest of their family still stuck in Gaza too.

This family has jumped through every hurdle for the past 3 years to get to where they are. They have been nothing but a source of inspiration and optimism for me and my friends who have helped them since day one. Should they fail to do so, not only would they not have a place to stay, it will result in them having to repeat the asylum process all over again.

Please do donate to their PayPal link the best you can and spread the word about this wonderful family! This is a huge milestone for them and we want them to see them continue to succeed against all odds! I will post updates regularly and transparently on the progress of this campaign with this community.

I’m helping a friend to share their fundraiser for a Palestinian family in Belgium to evacuate the rest of their family members from Gaza. We will be grateful for any amount of donations to this fundraiser. If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you help share this fundraiser to others you know who might be able to help donate.

In addition, the family in Begium has been granted residency there recently. However, they have been unable to find suitable housing so far, which they are required to have before the end of this month. If any comrades here are from Belgium (especially in Brussels), please kindly comment on this post or DM me as we need urgent help on this matter.
