Plus I had some incredibly annoying roommates who learned all the wrong lessons from the show.
I'd appreciate if you expanded on that.

Nah, it was a net positive show that explored some uncommon subject matter like mental health. It definitely had its moments.
People hate on it because the animation crew struggled to get union wages and because a white actress voiced a Vietnamese character (oh shit, the same criticism was leveled at Rick & Morty). Also some people consider Will Arnett a creep because he dates younger women.
So it's not really about the show they hate so much as the superficiality surrounding it.
All things come to pass, brother.
Bro I will literally fight you for the right to say ******, I’m never gonna stop saying dumb shit and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.
how do you expect non-native speakers to keep up with this shit?
Critical race theory as part of their naturalization process.
That's because you're not pronouncing it right. It's latinx.
If I told you I "grew up with the Huxtables", how would you interpret that?
Moms who still watch Ellen.
Did you just come from /stupidpol?
See how fucking ridiculous this gets to be?
Can't have a struggle session without someone pivoting to ridicule.
Am I supposed to stop listening to black music? Stop going to hip hop dance class? Am I still allowed to watch Chris Rock?
If you have a friend it should be okay.
Do i have to quit my jazz band because we are an all white/latino group appropriating black music…?
If you're appropriating (your words, not mine) that's an iffy yellow card.
And i am someone who most of my hobbies revolve around some form of black culture and not one black person has ever complained about my “wokeness” or whatever the fuck
Just because people don't say something doesn't mean they don't harbor the thoughts. How do you think they'd feel seeing you get all worked up about such a benign topic?
That's the Bill Maher excuse for not being woke. Gets offended for John Leguizamo using Latinx because "only 3% of Latinos use it" The march is forward, not to the "good ol' days."
There's a 98% chance this guy date raped someone, and this is cope.
All politics is...
