Doesn’t really disabuse anybody of the idea that they were a western puppet solely dedicated to splitting, undermining, and collapsing the Assad government
I disagree with most of what they say, including this post, I just haven’t read enough history to argue against it. I was hoping the “engagement” would produce some clarity.

Trump only does anything to look strong/good. It’s how he gave up on bombing Yemen, and it’s how the Palestinians in Gaza may get a hint of breathing room.
