No but I don't buy "insurance" for anything I can afford to replace.
My Apple TV is five years old and still works perfectly although I did upgrade to the newer remote.
Even if it had broken in the second year out of warranty I could easily afford to replace it just from all the money I have saved on not purchasing extended warranties on anything :-)
I have had computers, iPads, iPhones and have never had any of them that needed the use of an extended warranty as they all lasted well beyond the length of Apple Care.
I love the newer version of the Apple remote - the original smaller all black one not so much.
I find it so easy to use that I often deliberately wait to watch programs on my streamers versus my DVR because it is so much easier to fast forward and find programs without looking at the remote.
And having iOS 17 have a timer setting is life changing for me as I generally set the television for a boring program that I don't have to use my eyes to watch and drift off to sleep within 15 minutes. I previously had to haul out the remote for the television ONLY for the timing function.
