I'm glad it is gone, but I suppose it doesn't answer the question of what this hidden message was. Thankfully messages don't actually disappear just because you cleared the notification. You could investigate your past messages list still.

Even using Reddit by commenting or creating posts is doing free work to the financial benefit of Reddit the corporation.

One specifically bad thing about BlackRock is them buying up huge swaths of single family homes which increases prices and makes it more difficult for anyone to own property. Then they rent them out to people after they were not capable of getting a mortgage.

But BlackRock is absolutely enormous so that is just a drop in the bucket of what they do.

Those groups of people might be of the misunderstanding that people are still listening to them just because they are paying money.

In the US the difference would be shampooing the hair and using soap on your body compared to just rinsing with water.

I agree that is a really valuable position to be in, but you would still need to maintain your reputation or else they could all leave. The website itself is mostly insignificant and its popularity has everything to do with its reputation and userbase.
