How would federation work in that case? Are they going to defederate any instance that has NSFW content? By their own definition I've found CSAM on lemmy.world and every other instance that has NSFW communities.

I'm not convinced we have even begun to scratch the surface in developing AGI. I'm also not convinced it is even possible using conventional computer hardware.

I don't think BlueSky has ads. At least not yet. The dispute is mainly around the mobile Lemmy app Sync. Which is a mobile UI for lemmy that inserts ads into Lemmy where there previously were none.

It all returns to nothing.

This is the same as their moderation style. They ban first and justify it later.

I tried all of them and I kept going back to Jerboa so I've stuck with it for now. I might try them again at some point.

There was always something weird with most of them with the way they implemented profiles, profile pictures, profile banners, community icons and community banners that made them seem off. I haven't encountered any bugs. I'd be curious to know what bugs people are running into with it.

Usually the up front cost of the software would fund some number of years of updates. Then after that you would pay for a new version.

Isn't it rather contradictory to have a community for "healthy discourse" and also "conspiracy theories" ?

Any news on older Pixel devices having a price reduction? Has that been the case in the past maybe? I haven't ever payed close attention near a new device launch.

They will give nearly anyone a drivers license here. It doesn't help that it is the de facto form of identification which is another ridiculous matter.

Cars are going to get really terrible really soon if not already. They are becoming less of mechanical machines on wheels and more of computers on wheels. Car companies like Tesla are already harvesting every tiny bit of personal data from you as they possibly can. Other car manufacturers aren't much better. It is truly a privacy nightmare. Any new car you get you will basically have to gut it and cut out the part that tracks everything you do.

I love this show. I have weird memories of watching it late at night long ago.
