That's true. I just don't use it or have any desire to use it. But I get there are some still using it so, you are right a privacy focused frontend is a good thing to have.

Well, I use Fossify calendar and have no problems with it. For maps I like and use CoMaps, but the others will work well too. The map apps though use lat and long so they only put you at the block of the address but if you put GMaps WV on your phone you can put the address in it and then click share and copy the lat and long it provides and paste it into comaps and it will route straight to the address, its a couple extra steps but quick and easy. I honestly think youll realize you wish youd have switched sooner. Graphene is just amazing. Plus you can talk to them on their platforms and channels

What apps are you looking for alternatives for? I run Graphene and have replaced everything with foss alternatives and couldn't be happier. Except my banking app and a couple that should absolutely be the official apps, but those are installed on a seperate profile.

Also, dont use Aurora store for apps once on GOS. Its not recommended. Use Obtainium for apps straight from the source or accrescent along with GOS' official app store.

Go into your torrent client like qbittorrent settings and you can enter unwanted extensions, *.scr, *.exe, etc. Same if you use a usenet downloader like sabnzbd or nzbget. Then if sonarr or radarr attempt to download an unwanted extension your torrent downloader will not download it.

You can use Pipepipe, Libretube, Clipious or Newpipe without a google account and still have all of your channel subscriptions.

Its so easy with their web installer, takes like 5 minutes. If you go to their website they have a list of bank apps that work. Mine does and no issues. Ive been using Graphene for a couple years and can never go back.

Btw, Pop OS has said they will comply and add age attestation in case you weren't aware.

Came to Linux about a year ago and couldn't really be happier. Will never use Windows again. Everything runs better, some things take a little work to get working but worth it in the end to avoid Microslop and I feel like I actually own my pc and not forced to do what Microshit forces. Also use GrapheneOS on my phone and its a blessing as well having no Google crap dependencies, etc.
