What’s not cool is shitting on a movie just because you didn’t like it or it didn’t make sense to you.

If you don't like or don't get a work of art, it is entirely reasonable to shit on it.

The emperor has no clothes.

Nah, downvoted because it doesn't spark healthy discussion.

"What about freedom of speech?" isn't a valid question because the article is about social media, not a government. There are no freedom of speech rights on social media platforms.

Reduce, reuse, recycle applies to digital content as well. When you can, just use a meme template.

Meme responsibly.

The business logs how often you use the game. They use it as a metric of engagement. If everyone breaks their streak, their marketing department has a melt down.

basically no noise

Cars generate most of their noise from rolling when at road speed.

Yeah, this sounds like a win. If we replace the word "snack" with "smokes" then it's a definite win.

Reddit banning third party apps was the last straw. Even though I didn't use them I supported the movement. I tried Tildes for a little while, but it didn't click for me. Lemmy works well and I don't feel it's as addictive as Reddit.

Still a little addictive though.

You cannot have health without having disease. They are two parts of the same coin.
